This Privacy Policy explains how Cardvark Games (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit cardvarkgames.com (the “Site”), submit our Contact form, or submit our Scheduling form to register for an event or reserve our VIP Room. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

a. Contact Form
When you submit our Contact form, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, and the content of your message or inquiry.

b. Scheduling / Booking Form
When you use the Scheduling form to register for an event or request our VIP Room, we collect: First and last name; Email address; Phone number; The event, date, or time slot you are registering for or requesting; and Any additional details you choose to provide (for example, group size or special requests). This information is used to confirm your registration or reservation, communicate with you about the event or the VIP Room, and manage our event schedule and store capacity.

c. Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, the Site uses Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics may automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time spent on the Site, and referring website, typically through the use of cookies or similar tracking technologies. This information is collected in aggregate and is used to help us improve the Site and understand visitor interests; it is not used to identify you personally. We use the information described above to: Respond to inquiries submitted through the Contact form;
Confirm, manage, and communicate with you about event registrations and VIP Room reservations, including reminders or schedule changes; Maintain our event calendar and manage store capacity; Send you marketing communications about upcoming events, tournaments, promotions, or new product arrivals, where you have provided your contact information and have not opted out;
Analyze and improve the Site’s content, layout, and performance using Google Analytics; and Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and property of Cardvark Games and our patrons.

4. Marketing Communications

If you provide your email address or phone number through the Contact or Scheduling form, we may use that information to send you occasional marketing communications about Cardvark Games events, tournaments, and promotions. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the email or by contacting us directly at cardvarkgames@gmail.com. Opting out of marketing communications will not affect transactional messages related to an event registration or VIP Room reservation you have already made.

5. Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, including those associated with Google Analytics, to recognize your browser, remember certain preferences, and collect usage data. Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting cookies; note that disabling cookies may affect some functionality of the Site.

We may share information collected through the Site with: Service providers who help us operate the Site, process form submissions, or send communications (for example, our website hosting provider, form or scheduling software, and email service provider), who are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us; Google, in connection with our use of Google Analytics, subject to Google’s own privacy practices; and Law enforcement or other parties when required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cardvark Games, our patrons, or others.

7. Data Retention

We retain information submitted through the Contact and Scheduling forms for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, manage your event registration or reservation, and maintain business records, or as otherwise required by law. Google Analytics data is retained according to the settings configured in our Google Analytics account and Google’s own data retention practices.

8. Children’s Privacy

Cardvark Games welcomes players of all ages in our physical store; however, the Site itself is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Site. Where a parent or guardian submits the Scheduling form to register a minor for an event or reserve the VIP Room, that submission is treated as being made by the parent or guardian on the minor’s behalf. If we learn that a child under 13 has submitted personal information through the Site without parental involvement, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain uses of your information (including marketing). 10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect through the Site. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to such signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.

12. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party sites, including our Facebook page and Discord community. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies directly.
